Thiago F. Oliveira

Thiago F. Oliveira is a hearing representative, and currently a law school student, who has been practicing Workers’ Compensation for almost 8 years. In the past years, his vast knowledge and ability in the Workers Compensation world has granted him the ability to train and supervise attorneys, hearing representatives, and office staff. While at The Law Offices of Telleria, Telleria & Levy, Thiago has been part of or responsible for an innumerable amount of Trials, Depositions and over 50 million dollars in settlements acquired to the injured workers of California.

“I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, which, in the midst of extreme violence, pollution, poverty, and a very corrupted government, people tend to lose their voices and their hope for social, political, and community improvement. The few individuals that gain the knowledge to speak out against such issues find a population that is focused more on survival than social and governmental improvement. A few of these individuals, however, were speaking loud enough to catch my attention while I was growing up. These individuals, who were family members, friends, journalists, and writers, had one thing in common: they were leaders who inspired me to always ask myself how I, too, could become an individual with a voice that could be heard from people, and do it in such a way as to bring them hope. I eventually realized that the best path I could take to follow in these leaders’ footsteps was the legal path, which helps men and women discover the power of their own voices and the potential it has.”

When not helping injured workers, he spends time with his wife and his little Shar-Pei. He also enjoys reading, writing, music, spirituality, and martial arts, which he has been studying for over twenty years. The knowledge and self-discipline acquired by such studies helps Thiago to succeed and excel in his life and career.
